PRACTICE
Forum Modern Yoga
Hello, I’m Christina! Movement has been a lifelong passion of mine, rooted in years of cheer and dance. I discovered yoga in 2005, and in 2013, I completed my first of many training programs.
With thousands of hours of training and nearly a decade of teaching experience, I specialize in mobility work and breathing mechanics. My goal is to create educational offerings that are both digestible and relevant to today’s practitioners. I embrace a modern approach to this ancient practice, ensuring it continuously evolves to meet the needs of my students.

Christina began her yoga journey nearly 20 years ago and was first inspired to teach while living in the mountains. Her path led her to India and beyond, training with incredible teachers along the way.
She created Nu School with a vision: to make yoga more practical, sustainable, and rooted in curiosity. Whether you’re a student or a teacher, Nu School is here to help you explore your full potential.

Hi, I’m Liz! I came to yoga in 2012, around a time of injury where activities were limited, but I was craving any type of movement my body would allow. After continuing in my practice for a few years, I earned my 200HR teaching certificate at Asheville Yoga Center in 2018.
My practice now in 2025 is cultivated through curiosity, creativity, and science. As a clinical athletic trainer and a PhD student in Rehabilitation and Health Sciences, my practice stems from a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology and movement optimization. My goal is to intertwine this foundation with a fun yet challenging approach to a modern practice that enhances the understanding of the body through movement.
Liz
